Cover it up!

The obsession with swimwear is real. Just like any other outfit, I like to dress my swimsuits up! How do you do this? one might ask, Accessorizing is a huge one. Statement earrings or my personal favorite, oversized hoops are almost always my go to. Dainty layered necklaces or even body chains are another great way to accessories while still keeping it attire/event appropriate. Depending on what kind of pool day it might be, I may even take it up a notch and pair the swimsuit with summer heels and of course... a cover up!

There is just something about cover-ups, especially long ones. I don't know if it's the combination of chiffon or length in a swim coverup, but there is an elegance to it that I die for. I'm always looking for a chance to through one on (FACT: I love them so much you can sometimes find me wearing one around the apartment during the day while cooking or cleaning. It just makes me feel fancy, if I'm being 100% honest.)

FACT: Pulling my hair in a slick, tight low bun is my favorite way to have my hair in the pool. It keeps it securely out of my face even if it's completely wet AND I think the slick pony and bun just has a classy touch.
