Summer Time

Is right around the corner, and I'm already starting my beach days!

I recently took a trip to Gulf Shores, Alabama earlier this month. With it being only an hour away from Florida you already know the beaches were beautiful! White sands and blue water?... Um yes please! During this trip I got so inspired for new summer blog posts and makeup tutorials. So welcome to my first summer post of 2017!

In this post I'm going to share some of my beach favorites and necessities. First up... The watermelon bag!!!

1 Beach Bag!

I absolutely LOVE this watermelon bag. Not only Is It awesome as a bag alone, but to make It even more perfect, It's a cooler bag! This makes It a perfect accessory for those hot, wet summer days at the beach or pool! Because of the cooler lining, It's perfect to store water and drinks to keep cool in the sun, or you can do what I did and use It as beach bag! I stored my camera, beach towel, phone, and clothes In It. Because of the material I wasn't scared to get the bag wet or sandy (and trust me, It got sandy!) making It the perfect multi-functional summer bag!

2 Beach Hat!

Judge If you will, but I take my beach hats very seriously. What can I say, I love them! Hats are one of my favorite things to buy. Okay, who am I kidding... my favorite things to buy are pretty much ALL things. But really, I love hats! I think they instantly add the perfect accessory to any ensemble whether It be for the beach or a night time outing. I really took advantage of the occasion and wore hats everyday for this beach trip! I brought two for this trip and recommend bringing no more than that. As much as I hate It and would of loved to have had a different hat each day I was there, they are very difficult to pack/travel with, so keep It light!

3 Sunnies!

Versona- Not sold online

You obviously don't need me to tell you how sunglasses are a beach necessity! I brought a good three pairs with me so I always had a pair to match with different outfits. I always need my options! These in particular are from Versona. Unfortunately you can't purchase online but in store they have a ton of different styles and colors. Versona is my numbe one store for accessories. It's also my one stop shop for outfits (day or night), accessories, and gifts!

4 The Summer Drank

Bai Drink Molokai Coconut

I feel like this drink needs It's own moment. I have wanted to do a mini post about this drink because It has been my latest OBSESSION. I made a quick post on on Instagram about this drink, just hitting the top main points about why I love It. Basically It tastes like a paradise beach vacation In a bottle. On the way to Alabama I stopped at the connivance store and literally bought all they had. How could I go on a beach vacation with out having this coconut dream on hand!? So yes, this Is definitely on my list of beach necessities.

5 Electric Lips!

ABH- Liquid lipstick "Spicy" $20

This Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lip was a beach beauty staple for me. I personally love wearing makeup to the beach. I too am a fan of that glow-y natural "beach skin" look as well as a fan of a full on beat face for the beach. Depending on what your preference is on makeup to the beach, this electric red/orange lip from ABH was my go to for on the beach and off. The color SCREAMS summer and I think It looks absolutely beautiful with a sun-kissed tan.
