I recently purchased two makeup palettes from a brand called "Juvia's Place". The word around town was that the shimmer shadows in the palettes were out of this world. By the size, colors, and price of the palettes i was sold instantly. I am all about up and coming brands that not many know about. I think most of them are diamonds in the rough. I love that. I'm always on the hunt for new products and new brands, so when i heard about Juvia's my little heart sang. Brands that are super affordable with unbelievable quality is where i want to be. This is why Morphe brushes is one of my all time favorite brands. From the reviews i had seen, it was no surprise to me that when i received these palettes i was more than pleased.

On the website Juviasplace.com there were three palettes, small, medium, and large. There are also single shadows as well as brushes and lashes. I purchased "The Masquerade palette" (large) and "The Nubian" (small).

The Masquerade

The Masquerade palette consists of 10 shimmer and 5 matte shades. I would definitely call their shimmer shadows foil shadows. They are so incredibly full of high pigment it's crazy. The quality of the shimmers instantly reminded me of the Makeup Geek foiled eyeshadows that retail for $10 a pan. This Palette retails for $32.50

The matte shadows were not as highly pigmented as the shimmers for the first initial swatch, however, once applied on the eye the color was nice and full. The mattes are actually very nice and creamy!

The Nubian

"The Nubian" is the smallest palette and consists of 12 beautiful warm shades. It has 8 Shimmer and 4 matte shadows and boy, is this little guy dreamy. If i could be a baby palette... yup, i would be this one. The colors are SO RICH and packed full of orange-y goodness! I could die. Really. If you are a warm toned lover like yours truly, you will LOVE this palette. It has everything you need to create beautiful warm eye looks, plus it's so compact you can take it with you on the go! This one retails for $23.50
