It's been a month and a half since my website launch?! What? I originally wanted to put this up a week after the launch however, things went into full swing. Jobs changed, things got super busy, seasons in my life were shifting and all of the above. Luckily, looking back now, I'm so glad I waited almost two months to post this. It gave me time to reflect and see the outcome of how things went from the launch, till now.

Launching my website was one of the most special days of my life. It marked the start of my career. I feel like it was that one thing I needed to prove not only to myself, but to others just how serious I am, the passion I have for the artistry and how it CAN be a lifelong career for me. It has allowed me to have some unforgettable conversations with managers and brand artists right in the middle of and Ulta. A conversation that just solidified how I am meant to do this. Doors that will soon be opened all due to this site and the hard work I put in to making it real. There is still a LONG road ahead, but nothing worth having has ever comes easy. Not all has been great, there were relationships lost over the site. People who I considered good friends soon showed their true colors shortly after I announced the site and it's launch. It hurts when friends change over good things happening to you. one thing I've learned from this, if friends can't support and be happy for you when you get the tiniest amount of success and good happen, they didn't deserve to be in your life in the first place. You don't need them. I realize this is only the start. People will come and go. However, I am so fortunate to have the family and friends I have in my life. They are true, loyal, genuine and honest. I am the most lucky.

Website Launch Celebration

Now you know why I've been a little MIA since the launch, but now I'm back and ready to post my blogs on the reg! (once a week, two if I'm feeling feisty). Tutorials will be going back into full swing ;)

Because the sun was fixing to set and we needed good sunlight, we were super limited on time. I had to throw on this chiffon top while still wearing my sweatpants run outside and GO. All smoke and mirrors people.
